Danny “DJ” Morales, Jr.

Danny Morales Jr. (DJ) born and raised in Douglas, Arizona until age 12

December 25th, 1987: family moved to Massachusetts with father’s transfer from Fort Huachuca

June 10th, 1994: graduated, Ayer High School, Honors

March 6th, 1998: married Martha Aguayo – DHS ’94, Cochise ’17, attending UA South for Elementary Ed. (couple has 2 sons)

August 10th, 2000: graduated U of A, BA, Biochemistry, English Literature minor, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Betta Kappa

August 31st, 2001: commissioned, Ensign, U.S. Navy (served on active duty 1999-2011)

February 1st, 2011: affiliated with Navy Reserve and presently drilling at NOSC Tucson

March 8th, 2016: elected Douglas City Councilmember Ward One – includes International Border and Douglas Port of Entry

August 4th, 2016: graduated SALETC, class president. Currently servings as a CCSO reserve deputy having trained and patrolled full-time in the Bisbee, Elfrida, and Sierra Vista patrol areas

August 10th, 2016: appointed Mayor Pro Tempore and SEAGO’s executive board member

December 17th, 2017: graduated Pima Community College, AAS, Law Enforcement, Highest Honors, Phi Theta Kappa
