Jul 24, 2018 For those who are interested, the results of our very "scientific" audience survey are in. The winner for our July 19th Candidate Forum was Billy Kovacs! Congratulations, Billy. The audience appreciated your well thought out answers to our questions. 2nd place went to the winner of our last Forum, Bruce Wheeler. Thank you also to Mary Sally Matiella, Dr. Matt Heinz for Arizona, Barb Sherry and Ann Kirkpatrick who endured a feisty crowd to allow CD2 voters have access to the Candidates in order to make the most informed choice. We want to thank all of the people who helped to put together our Candidate Forum, including the audience and of course the Candidates. Jun 13, 2018 We are pleased to announce that ALL SEVEN Democratic candidates for CD2 will be joining us for our Third Candidate Forum. (edited 6/14/18* Republicans were not included in this event but we are looking at multiparty forums for the future) Thursday, July 19th at Tucson Magnet High School 400 N 2nd Avenue from 6:00-8:00 pm Our own Marion Chubon will be moderating and holding the candidates accountable to answer the questions. In this forum, we will be designing questions to address some of the candidates previous statements and to discern differences between them, as well as to see who is best prepared to face a Republican in the General Election.
